Where are you located, and what are your class times?
We're located at 7632 Tampa Ave, Reseda, CA 91335. Classes run Monday through Friday, with sessions scheduled by program and age group throughout the afternoon and evening, plus a Friday sparring class. You can view the full weekly schedule on our website, or call us at 818-481-5980 and we'll help you find the right class time.
How does belt testing and progression work?
Students advance through our belt ranks by demonstrating the skills, discipline, and effort expected at each level. We hold regular belt testing evaluations so students have clear goals to work toward, and instructors guide each student on what they need to master before testing. Progression is based on individual growth, not a fixed timeline.
What should my child or I wear to the first class?
For your free trial, comfortable athletic clothing and bare feet are perfect—no uniform needed. If you decide to join, we'll get you set up with a uniform and walk you through everything you need. Just bring a water bottle and a positive attitude.
How do I get started, and is the first class really free?

Do I need any experience to start?
Not at all. Most of our students begin with zero martial arts experience. Our instructors meet every student where they are and build from the fundamentals, so whether your child is brand new to sports or you're an adult returning to fitness, you'll be supported from day one.
What ages do you teach?
ProKicks Martial Arts welcomes students from age 4 through adult. Our programs are grouped by age and skill level: Excellent Kids (ages 4–5), Tiny Tigers (ages 5–7), Child/Teen (ages 8–13), and Teen/Adult (ages 14 and up). This way, every student trains alongside peers at a similar stage and learns in an environment built for them.
